A WOMAN who initially bought a Dryrobe for swimming has insisted she now wears it for “everything but”.
Stasia took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself wearing a camouflage-print Dryrobe while doing the ironing.
“When you buy a Dryrobe to do everything but go for a swim,” she wrote over the top.
And she added in the caption: “It did start with swimming!
“But now I do find myself just wearing it everywhere.
“Who else is a Dryrobe w**ker?”
And the comments section was almost immediately filled, as one person emphatically replied: “Yes!
“You’ve gotta get your moneys worth!
“Like wearing it in the garden when it gets cold in the evening, bonfire night in the rain, its endless.”
“Haha snap!!” another insisted.
“I wear mine for dog walking. And sometimes popping to Waitrose.
“Aren’t they the comfiest, warmest garment ever?! And it doesn’t matter what you have on underneath.
“I’m totally a Dryrobe w**ker!”
“Essex is smothered in these,” a third laughed.
“They’re the best!!”
“Me!” someone else laughed.
“So comfy!
“Amazed I’ve not had an appearance on the dryrobe w**ker spotting Facebook group yet!!”
“This cracked me up,” another wrote.
“Feel like all I ever see is people in dryrobes!”
“Many shops in Hertford don’t accept your custom these days unless you wander in in a dryrobe!” someone else joked.
As another commented: “I had no idea these existed until the drama about them exploded on TikTok .
“Plus I’m totally here for the camo being ex military!”
Stars include Rita Ora, Michelle Keegan and Harry Styles have all been seen sporting one of the coveted coats.
And they’ve also become popular amongst mums on the school run – a fact slammed by fashion fan Lucy on TikTok.
Sharing promotional images of people wearing dryrobes, she wrote over the top: “When I see people walking about Tesco in these…”
“Why are they trending?” she captioned her post, alongside the hashtag #ick.
“Finally someone said it,” one person commented on her video.
“Everyone at school pick ups wearing them as well,” another added.
With someone else agreeing: “Literally all of them past my window like a waddle of penguins!”
“This!! It’s the parents’ uniform at my son’s school” someone else said.
