Videos have surfaced on social media revealing the distribution of condom packets marked with symbols of political parties, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Allegedly handed out by party cadres during door-to-door campaigns for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, this unconventional campaign tactic has led to mutual accusations between the rival parties. Despite both engaging in similar activities, each party has criticised the other for resorting to such tactics.
