A COUPLE have gone viral after sharing their lavish wedding proposal online – despite her man not even being there in person.
The organisers of the proposal, Blooming Events, took to social media to share it and people were left seriously divided.
Many thought it was quite romantic, however many said there were red flags from the start considering the couple’s circumstances.
The soon-to-be bride can be spotted wearing all white as she walks up to the lake.
The lake has been lavishly decorate with white rose petals along the grass and a giant ‘Marry Me?’ sign made from white light-up letters was placed looking out to the lake.
There was also a giant love heart made of white roses – which was places strategically by an iPad on a tripod.
To make sure it was as romantic as possible, her partner also hired a violinist and made sure to do it at sunset for the best view.
As the blonde beauty walked up to the iPad she looked on in disbelief as he asked her to marry him.
Despite the romantic setting – this was no ordinary proposal.
Her partner was obviously not there in person, and that’s because he is in jail serving time behind bars.

In the clip the event organiser penned: “My client proposes from jail on Facetime.”
Of course, the young woman was able to get her ring even if he wasn’t down on one knee with her and she looked at her newly accessorised hand with excitement at the end of the clip.
“DEFINITION OF IF HE WANTED TO, HE WOULD!!! .. no matter the distance he still made it happen,” wrote the proposal organisers.
The clip posted to their TikTok account @bloomingeventsco has since gone viral with over 2million views and 174k likes.
One person wrote: “The reddest green flag I’ve ever seen.”
Another commented: “He clearly commits, sometimes it’s crime.. sometimes it’s marriage.”
“I’m conflicted between “if he wanted to he would” and “HES IN JAIL,”” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Imagine standing there alone after that.”
“Idk if this a flex. This is a moment I want my partner to be present. It takes away the moment him having to hang up in 5 minutes,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Don’t waste your life girls.”
