GREG James has taken a swipe at his former colleague Jordan North – after it was revealed he’s leaving Radio 1.
The DJ, 38, who hosts the Breakfast Show, made a sly dig about why Jordan is really leaving after he confirmed he will be hosting the rival show on Capital.

Last week, The Sun told how Jordan, 34, had signed a big money deal to join Global after quitting Radio 1.
Greg also made it clear he was staying put and in another dig, he posted a picture of earplugs and wrote: “Renewed my breakfast show contract so bought myself a little something to celebrate.”
Jordan was hosting the drivetime show with Vick Hope on BBC Radio 1, but made the surprise decision to leave instead of waiting to get the coveted breakfast show position.
Greg has been doing the morning show since 2018, when he took over from Nick Grimshaw.
Jordan appeared on the Capital airwaves for the first time this morning to confirm he is taking over from Roman Kemp.
He will hit the airwaves in April and will also host Capital’s Summertime Ball in June.
Speaking today, he told his new listeners: “I am beyond excited to be joining Global and to wake up the nation every morning on Capital.
“I can’t wait to start working with the amazing team here and get stuck in, to create the most fun and entertaining breakfast show.
“Getting to host Capital Breakfast has always been a dream of mine and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that I simply couldn’t turn down.”
He will be joined by his old Radio 1 colleague Chris Stark, as well as Sian Welby in the studio.
Jamie Laing has been signed as Jordan’s replacement on Radio 1 and will begin his tenure in March.
