KAT Slater and Nish Panesar fell into each other’s arms in the wake of their failed marriages but their romance won’t last long.
The EastEnders villain tries to play the soap legend but gets caught up in his own game next week.
Nisha Panesar has big plans and intends to use Kat Slater to get what he wants[/caption] But Kat is on to him next week[/caption] The villain ends up being humiliated[/caption]Nish Panesar (portrayed by Navin Chowdhry) is planning to take over Phil Mitchell’s empire and his relationship with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) couldn’t have come at a better time.
After bedding the businesswoman and a first break-up, Nish made it clear that he would only be using Kat to get what he wants.
Coming up on BBC One, Kat starts to worry about Raymond due to his mother Denise Fox’s mental health predicament.
However, her soon-to-be ex-husband Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) quickly shuts down her concerns and tells Kat that his solicitor has started their divorce proceedings.
Later on, Kat overhears that Phil is buying the Arches from his son Ben and she starts to suspect that he isn’t being honest in the divorce as the business wasn’t listed on his solicitors letter.
Nish seizes the opportunity to get his hands on some of the Mitchell fortune and introduces Kat to dodgy divorce lawyer Roger Peel.
In other scenes, however, a rift is drawn between Nish and Kat as she arrives at No 41 to see him, but it soon becomes clear that he is aware she could be up to no good.
After fending off an attack from Nish, Kat runs to Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and Nish’s ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
The group of women all share words and Kat and Stacey humiliate Nish.
Unfortunately for them, Nish retaliates by giving DC Whisson a call regarding the events of Christmas and his attack.
At the Albert, the women then meet with Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) to discuss the developments but things take a sour turn when Stacey evicts Suki after an argument erupts between the pair.
In later scenes, Suki tells a devastated Eve she’s leaving whilst Nish watches on.
In The Vic, Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) gives his mother Suki food for thought and she heads to No 41 to ask for a truce with Nish.
It’s not long before Nish turns violent as the wider Panesar family arrive home in Suki’s time of need.
What will they do when they discover Nish’s violent behaviour?
More importantly, how will Nish react?
Although he doesn’t have all the details, Nish is convinced that Stacey and Suki are keeping something about his attack, which took place in The Vic on Christmas Day.
Viewers will know that Nish is correct but the truth may still surprise the villain.
Stacey and Suki were in The Vic along with Sharon Watts, Denise Fox, Kathy Beale and Linda Carter when Nish walked in, desperate to save his marriage with Suki.
Fuming when he realised he wouldn’t get what he want, Nish became violent and Denise responded by striking him over the head with a heavy bottle.
Nish was left to die on the Queen Vic floor as the group of women, with the exception of Suki who was trying to revive him, were then witnesses to Keanu Taylor’s murder.
Linda stabbed Keanu when he walked into the pub to confront Sharon overs Albie Watts’ paternity and he lost his cool as she goaded him.
Keanu was strangling Sharon when Linda stopped him and all six women then teamed up together to get rid of his body.
Although Linda confessed the truth to her son Johnny, no resident in Albert Square is fully aware of the events that have taken place on Christmas Day but Nish made it clear he was determined to get to the bottom of things.
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
