A WOMAN has revealed that she has found a secret bargain shop where you can get brand new clothes from big retailers, for less.
Savvy shopper Ella explained that in the bargain store, in Wales, you will find new items of clothing, as well as shoes and bags, for cut-prices.
When browsing the store, Ella managed to get her hands on a variety of bits from River Island – and even spotted buys from Ted Baker too.
Ella took to social media to alert fashionista to the shop – Newlife, a fashion store in Newport, Wales.
Newlife gives bargain lovers the chance to grab high-street brands at hugely discounted prices, all while helping a charity supporting disabled children in need.
Newlife Newport is the ninth across the UK to join the Newlife family and has a wide range of fashion available for men, women and children – giving shoppers a huge range to choose from, all under one roof.
The store raises vital funds for its charity services by working with over 300 leading retailers and manufacturers across the UK and Europe who donate items that would otherwise be destined for landfill, mainly customer returns, faulty items or end of line products.
Thrilled at her finds, Ella urged shoppers to visit the store, as she said: “Now if you don’t know about this shop called Newlife in Newport, you need to get to know.
“So when the UK’s biggest retailers don’t want to sell their stock anymore, or it goes out of season, this is where all the brand new stock goes for heavily discounted prices!
“There’s such a variety of things in here, you’ve really got to take a look.”
Not only did Ella spot a River Island feather blouse, but she also found a Ted Baker jacket too, as she added: “I found this gorgeous River Island blouse for only £6.99.
“There was Ted Baker stuff in there.
“And I actually picked up and went home with this lovely blazer from River Island for only £5.”
She also spotted a range of other goodies, as she continued: “They’ve got shoes in here, boots, accessories, handbags, scarves, hats.
“I ended up buying four River Island items for only £20.”

And if you’re looking for kids’ fashion or plus-size clothes, Ella later explained: “They have all their clothes sectioned out in size category. They have a 16+ section.”
She also wrote: “You’re welcome girlies.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ella.empowers, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 61,500 views in just one day.
Social media users were impressed at the store’s cheap offerings and many were desperate to take a visit.
One person said: “Omg I need to go!!!”
Another added: “Thank you, I will definitely be paying a visit.”
Meanwhile, other bargain hunters shared their thoughts on the store.
One fashion fan commented: “I love this shop. I’ve got so many bargains from there.”
Whilst someone else chimed in: “Buy all my clothes from here.”
At the same time, another shopper penned: “Have you seen the bargain boxes in there for £5? They have mystery boxes in various sizes and they’re quite good.”
One eager visitor asked: “Is there plenty of parking there?”, to which Ella beamed: “Yes, loads of parking!”
Meanwhile, someone else asked: “Is this Newport in South Wales? If so.. my plans for this weekend are sorted.”
To this, Ella explained: “Yes South Wales! Just by Maeglas industrial estate.”
Not only this, but many shoppers tagged their friends and loved ones, desperate to arrange a trip to Newlife.
One shopper alerted a TikTok user and penned: “We should go.”
Whilst a second asked a bargain hunter: “Shopping trip?”
Newlife was founded 30 years ago to ensure that disabled and terminally ill children get the best possible start in life and have the opportunity to fulfil theory potential.
Newlife offers a lifeline for families, providing life-changing and life-saving equipment when and where its needed.
Alongside equipment, the charity campaigns to improve the outlook for disabled children and change lives.
They also support parents, work with health professionals and strive for a future where all disabled children get the equipment they need and deserve.
Andrew Murphy-Hayes, Newlife Head of Retail Stores, said: “Newlife is a unique kind of retailer – we definitely aren’t a charity shop in the traditional sense and don’t take donations from individuals, instead we receive donations directly from High Street stores, which means we always have lots to choose from and you always have the thrill of discovering something amazing at an equally amazing price.
“And of course, we are extending the life of the items we sell, so by shopping here you are doing your bit to help the environment too.”
As well as grants for equipment, Newlife’s Emergency Equipment Loan Service aims to provide families in crisis the equipment their child needs within 72 hours, anywhere in the UK.
Other services include loans of Play Therapy Pods, packed with specialist toys and a nurse run helpline to provide experienced support.
