BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A juvenile male was arrested while another is recovering after an alleged stabbing Monday inside a Residence Inn hotel on Delaware Avenue, authorities confirmed to News 4 WIVB.
Authorities said the two juvenile males were involved in an altercation around 6:30 p.m. inside the Residence Inn when one allegedly stabbed the other. They said the two juveniles were known to each other.
The victim was transported to Oishei Children's Hospital for treatment of his injuries, authorities said. The ages of the juveniles and the severity of the victim's injuries were not immediately made clear.
Buffalo police arrested the other involved juvenile and charged him with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon.
