EASTENDERS has dropped another bombshell as a second member of The Six has confessed to the crime.
Viewers watched last week as Linda Carter broke down and confessed everything to son Johnny, and now it seems she’s opened the floodgates.
In tonight’s episode Denise Fox decided to unburden herself amid her mental breakdown.
Fans know she is seeing visions of Keanu Taylor, despite him being dead and buried under the cafe floor.
She disappeared tonight having significantly worried the other women about her mental state.
But then it was revealed where Denise was – in prison with serial killer ex-husband Lucas.
“You’ve got to help me,” she said to him.
“I don’t know who to trust. I don’t know who to turn to.”
Lucas told her that she needed to open up and let him help her
Let me help you,” he said. “There’s a battle raging inside you, I can feel it. I know that battle, I’ve been there. I’ve been to that place. It’s dark, it’s hopeless.”
“It’s the devil,” said Denise.
“And I let him in that night. I just want to be left alone. I want him to find peace. I’m scared Lucas. I can’t sleep. I don’t know who to trust. I don’t know who’s real any more.”
“Confess and you’ll be free,” Lucas said.
Struggling Denise made a decision and told Lucas: “It’s not just my secret.
“The others, you don’t know what they’ll do. You don’t know what they’re capable of.”
Lucas looked intrigued and determined to get information out of Denise, telling her: “So tell me, what did you do?
“If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and he will forgive us our sins. And he will purify us from all unrighteousness. Unburden your soul, Dee…”
Looking at Lucas she said: “I buried him. I put him in the ground.”
But will Denise tell Lucas the full story or will she come to her senses first?
