A TV doctor “took advantage” of a patient at his clinic and promised her Botox in exchange for sex, a tribunal heard.
The woman also claims she gave Dr Tijion Esho, from This Morning, “free” sex chat, which she would normally charge clients for.
The TV doctor admitted four of ten charges including an improper emotional relationship with her from 2019 to 2022[/caption]Dr Esho has admitted having an “improper emotional relationship with the woman, a “sex worker” who offers services on OnlyFans and webcams.
She had visited the dad of two about a designer lip procedure, which he provides at his clinics in London, Newcastle and Dubai.
I was offering free sexting, it was sex chat”
Patient A
After an appointment in 2019, she followed him online and he would respond to her posts with sexual content, said Chloe Hudson for the General Medical Council.
The patient took this to mean he may want to be a customer of her services at the same time he was treating her, said Ms Hudson.
Known as Patient A – the woman alleges she talked about doing a “skills swap” with the doctor, in which she would provide “booty” and “t****” In return for “mls”.
Giving evidence today, she explained that was a reference to a millilitre of filler, after she asked during one explicit chat: “Do I get a simple cheeky ml.”
“I was offering free sexting, it was sex chat,” she continued.
“It’s services provided by sex workers, one of the most common services on platforms.”
The woman claimed she felt she was being “sexually objectified and taken advantage of” and she tried to “reframe” her chat with the doctor to “prevent being exploited”.
“I was giving so much free sexting,” she told the tribunal.
She said she had also discussed escorting with the doctor, another service she offered “from time to time”.
A tribunal previously heard the pair exchanged X-rated messages and the patient alleges they eventually had sex at his Newcastle clinic.
In one text message, the TV doctor is alleged to have said: “I break the doctor’s code and I’d be a dead man.”
Mario Lambis KC, counsel for the doctor, claimed Patient A had known the doctor before becoming his patient and had met him in bars and clubs.
She has denied this but said she had previously worked in a gentleman’s club.
Mr Lambis also claimed she couldn’t have gone to him in July 2019 for a “designer lip” procedure, as she alleges, because Dr Esho wasn’t offering it at the time.
But, the woman said the doctor was using the procedure as a way of “promoting himself” and she had liked images of the results.
The woman was due to give further evidence before proceedings were halted for unknown reasons.
The patient has also previously claimed Dr Esho was aware she was vulnerable due to her job, with her appearance generating her income.
She claimed he told her he could “get away with giving her Botox in exchange for sexual services” afterwards.
Dr Esho has denies this allegation.
He did admit four of ten charges including an improper emotional relationship with her from 2019 to 2022.
After claims were first raised Dr Esho had special conditions put on his licence, including needing to be chaperoned when with female patients, as revealed by The Sun in 2022.
A spokesperson for Dr Esho said: “Dr Esho is currently involved in a GMC investigation in respect of a matter which relates to a former patient.
“Dr Esho has engaged fully with the GMC and will provide his account in due course at the MPT hearing. Out of respect for the process in which he is currently involved, he cannot go into a significant level of detail, however he categorically denies any allegation of offering inappropriate medical services in exchange for sexual favours. He looks forward to providing his account and setting the record straight in due course at the MPT hearing.
“He also wishes to outline that he is very grateful for all of the support displayed by patients and friends during this time.”
The tribunal continues in Manchester.
