A SKINCARE enthusiast has shared her top tip to have youthful skin and fight wrinkles.
She said that people need to know her biggest piece of anti-aging advice concerning how you’re moisturizing your face.
After several years of struggling with acne-prone skin, Dani (@danicolexx) prioritized her skincare and beauty routine.
It not only included getting the right products but also proper hand placement.
She revealed in a TikTok video the top anti-aging tip that she wishes she had known sooner and that others should be aware of.
“You don’t realize dragging your skin down when moisturizing is making you more prone to wrinkles and aging,” the subtitle read.
Dani first showed viewers the wrong way to moisturize by using the tips of her fingers to rub circles on her cheeks harshly, pulling her face down.
She then showed the correct method which was to take one finger and press in, similar to the Gua Sha method, where all movements should be upward and follow lymphatic flow.
Dani used two fingers to rub under her eyes from her inner corners to her outer eye and softly rubbed upward on her forehead.
Viewers complimented her skincare tip and asked additional questions.
“Your skin is ethereal,” one commented.
“Wait I’ve been doing this forever. Is it too late to reverse the effects?” another asked.
Not everyone appreciated her advice and shared honest opinions in the comments.
“I know how I should be doing it, but I’m far too lazy and I feel like rubbing with your entire hands makes sure it gets everywhere and absorbs better,” a viewer wrote.
