CHELSEA stars are likely to pocket around £20,000 each in bonuses if they win this Sunday’s Carabao Cup final, according to reports.
The Blues take on Liverpool at Wembley with boss Mauricio Pochettino aiming to win his first trophy in English football.
Chelsea are set to take on Liverpool this weekend[/caption]Last year’s Carabao Cup winners Manchester United provided a £1.6million prize pot to be shared among their victorious squad.
According to the Mail, however, Chelsea have made just £500,000 available in bonuses for winning on Sunday.
Should this be shared among the Blues’ 25-man squad it would equate to around £20,000 per player.
As per Spotrac, this would see Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Enzo Fernandez, Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku and Moises Caicedo all receive under a day’s salary for winning the Carabao Cup.
Chelsea will divide their bonus pot in line with the minutes each player played on the way to winning the tournament, should they beat Liverpool.
The EFL pay just £100,000 in prize money to the winners of its flagship competition.
For winning the FA Cup, by comparison, a club will pocket £4million.
Chelsea chiefs have offered a bigger bonus pot for the FA Cup accordingly, with players to divide £1m between themselves if they go all the way.

Winning the on Sunday would see Chelsea qualify for the Europa Conference League.
In this scenario, the Blues would have to adhere to Uefa’s financial rules – which are stricter than those of the Premier League.
Clubs competing in Uefa competitions next year will be restricted to spending a maximum of 80 per cent of their revenues on wages and transfers.
The Blues’ income could fall below £450m this season.
But even at that figure, Chelsea would be permitted by Uefa rules to spend no more than £360m on wages and transfers.
With their current wage bill already equalling £350m – this would give them just £10m to play with this summer.
