Three of the best players from the modern era of Tottenham Hotspur were reunited last night at a Burberry show as part of London Fashion Week, with Heung-min Son, Dele Alli, and Gareth Bale spotted chatting to one another.
It’s a shame the trio of Bale, Dele, and current Spurs skipper, Heung-min Son, were not able to play together more regularly. The three players shared one season together during the 2020/21 campaign, when fans were not allowed in stadiums.
Since then, of course, Bale has retired from playing after ending his career with MLS side LA FC. The Welshman now spends most of his time hitting the links and perfecting his golf game.
Dele has had a difficult couple of years, spending time on loan at Besiktas and struggling for fitness at Everton. It is unclear if or when he will play for the Toffees, or any club, again.
Son, meanwhile, is loving life with the Lilywhites still. Now the club captain, the South Korean star has registered 12 goals and six assists in 22 Premier League appearances this season (Transfermarkt).
With Spurs having a two-week break now until their next game, it seems Son has been stretching his legs at London Fashion Week, where he ran into his former teammates, Bale and Dele, at a Burberry show.
The trio were spotted in a video on social media chatting and smiling together, looking very sharp and stylish, of course.
Videos and photos from the event show them with Chelsea full-back Ben Chilwell, and Bale was seated with Arsenal midfielder, Martin Odegaard.
Spurs Web Opinion
It’s great to see Son, Bale, and Dele together and all looking so happy. I just wish they were on a football pitch together instead, especially Dele, who I really hope can get back to fitness soon.
