AS we are race to get ready the morning, we can often feel like our makeup doesn’t look it best with dry patches or cakey foundation.
Presenter Stacey Solomon has revealed how she gets camera ready in minutes, thanks to a nifty make hack that ‘defies the laws of nature’.
Most people would agree that the presenter is a natural beauty; with her long blonde locks, perfect pout and winning smile.
However, the mum-of-five has revealed that she has hang-ups about her body just like everyone else and even candidly spoke about this in a recent Tiktok.
Sharing a close up of her skin, the Loose Women panelist told fans: “I’ve got really nice skin, I’ve got loads of texture, I’ve got different colours going on and I’ve even got some nice cool veins.”
There was one issue that seemed to get the TV personality down though, with her saying: “Do you know what I love the most about my skin is that I’ve got loads of hair on it. So cute.”
Whilst everyone feels anxious about the skin that they are in, Stacey shared that the way she applied her foundation had helped her feel more confident.
“I thought today I’d show you how I put my foundation on, because I feel like it’s revolutionary,” she gushed, clearly excited to share the beauty hack.
Rather than just apply her foundation with a brush, the Sort Your Life host will often use a beauty blender when she has a few extra minutes.
There’s one key difference with Stacey’s application though, as she will get the make up tool soaking wet before using it.
In a now viral video, she showed just how effective this hack at covering her skin using the blender and a bowl of tap water.
“Get some water or go to your tap and soak a blending sponge,” she explained, adding that she would then squeeze it out.
Patting the damp sponge against her skin, Stacey showed just how evenly her matte foundation blended – despite using the water logged beauty blender.
“It feels like it goes against all the law of makeup, like why would I put something wet on my fresh make up…but honestly, nothing blends better than a wet sponge,” she added, joking that the ‘science of make up’ was crumbling.
However, the presenter’s biggest ‘beauty secret’ worked as she revealed her flawless skin.
She also urged fans to apply it with a dabbing motion, with her hilariously demonstrating with an ‘ASMR’ sound.
In the comments, fans were equally impressed – calling it the ‘best’ foundation tutorial ever – thanks to Stacey’s antics and informative hack.
“I did not know this!! I’m going to try it tomorrow…Thanks!”, one gushed, whilst another said: “This is my favourite Tiktok page now!! Hands down. All the things you need, funny, informative & and bit cheeky! It’s a revolution!!”
A third added: “Stacey I have loved this makeup tutorial more than any other I have ever seen. The way you explain it is just amazing.”
Others were also impressed with how quickly the TV personality put on her fake lashes, with many of her followers begging for another tutorial.
Please Stacey, share you secret!
