A Fox News pundit's attempt to slam attorneys as "political hatchet men" for prosecuting and suing former President Donald Trump earned ridicule Monday night when she compared their alleged corruption to that seen in nations such as North Korea, Russia and China.

An editor at the news site Meidas Touch took the challenge, sharing Laura Ingraham comments on X along with the following message:
"Trump has praised the leaders of all of the countries Ingraham lists here," wrote @Acyn. "In some speeches, he has admired how one of them rules his country with an ‘iron fist.'"
That would be Chinese President Xi Jinping, who Business Insider has reported has an authoritarian tenure marked by increased mass surveillance. He's also been accused by the Human Rights Watch of starting a "broad and sustained offensive on human rights," the report notes.
"Textbook fascism," Colin Jacobson replied to Ingraham's message. "Accuse the other side of your beliefs/behaviors."
"Laura Ingraham strikes me as someone who has a crush on Kim Jong Un," added @ArtCandee.
"She and the rest of Fox know that Trump is being held accountable because of the wrongs he has committed, not because he is a politician," said X user Daniel. "Any of the other 45 Presidents would be held accountable also if they did what Trump has done."
