'Worst president in history, Marge': MTG's President's Day wishes to Trump draw blowback
On the day after Fox News infuriated viewers by reporting that Donald Trump ranked dead last among presidents living or dead according to the Presidential Greatness Project, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) leapt into the fray by wishing the embattled ex-president a "Happy Presidents' Day."
"Happy Presidents’ Day to my favorite President and yours, President Donald J. Trump!" she wrote.
Based upon responses to her post on X, who or what constitutes "yours" when it comes to favorites is open to debate.
Needless to say, critics took to X to set her straight, with one noting the Presidential Greatness Project rankings and advising her, "Donald Trump is rated as the WORST President in history, Marge."
PatriotTakes clarified for her his current status as "former."
"Celebrating criminals is soooo Margie Greene," contributed zezzledog, with @DougMount adding, "He's not my favorite president, but I don't know how you do things over in Russia."
@enuminous replied, "You don't get to speak for me, and I doubt in a hot minute that you even speak for a majority of your own constituents in your State."

Posting a video clip of former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr talking about MTG's favorite president, South Dakotans for Political Integrity pointed out, "Here is Trump's handpicked AG Bill Barr, who oversaw all fraud investigations, TESTIFYING UNDER OATH that Trump's fraud claims were 'BS.' Every lawyer & election expert in the WH, as well as state officials, told Trump he LOST, but he LIED anyway."
Matthew Meadows noted Taylor Greene's recent inability to pronounce "indictable" correctly, and wrote, "Favorite is like In-dict-able. You have to practice to understand what the word means. Try it in a better sentence like 'Donald Trump is my favorite rapist with 91 counts waiting for him like dog poop at the front door'. Much better."
Texas68Landon expressed frustration with Trump for unfilled promises, simply writing, "Where is my wall you jerk."
