This week's show begins with a recap from a wild week of college basketball. No. 6 KU men's basketball suffered a blowout loss at Texas Tech on Monday, but beat Oklahoma in Norman on Saturday to snap a four-game road losing streak.
K-State men's basketball lost its sixth game out of the past seven to TCU at home on Saturday. Despite a late-game comeback by the 'Cats, a deep TCU three with almost no time on the clock gave the Frogs a 75-72 win.
No. 7 K-State women's basketball lost a heartbreaking double-overtime thriller at Iowa State Wednesday, but rebounded with a home win over UCF Saturday. A last-second layup from Jaelynn Glenn gave the 'Cats the win.
KU women's basketball extended its win streak to five with a home win against Cincinnati on Wednesday and a road win at BYU on Saturday.
K-Nation's Glenn Kinley made the trip to Kokomo, Indiana for an exclusive interview with five-star KU men's basketball commit Flory Bidunga. Interviews with Bidunga and his guardians will air on K-Nation next Sunday.
Onto Indianapolis, Glenn Kinley also caught up with former K-State men's basketball stars Keyontae Johnson and Markquis Nowell in exclusive interviews. Both 'Cats were named to the NBA G-League Next Up game, Johnson played but Nowell did not due to injury.
KU freshman track star Pearl Awanya broke the Ghana national record in the 400m last week. Awanya, a native of Ghana, Africa, clocked a 52.56 in the 400m while also helping KU women's 4x400 team break last year's program record.
