Emily Blunt Stuns in a Daring Naked Dress at the 2024 BAFTA Awards
Emily Blunt‘s red carpet appearance at the 2024 BAFTAs has left our jaws on the floor after she wowed in a stunning embellished dress at the prestigious award ceremony.
The Oppenheimer actress stepped out on the red carpet in London on Feb. 18 in an ab-baring gown that had everything we could ask for from sequins to flared sleeves and daring sheer detailing. Her Elie Saab gown featured silver beading over an entirely see-through fabric. To add even more drama, the dress also featured bell sleeves, and a sweeping train. Cutouts on the gown revealed Blunt’s midriff, adorned with a crystal-embellished band across her waist.
Proving that less isn’t always more, Blunt added a statement diamond necklace with matching earrings to her look. Her blonde hair was pulled up into a glamorous top knot with face framing pieces left down in a swooping wave. Her makeup looked fresh and simple, tied together with a pink lip.
While many other couples made the BAFTAs their date night, Blunt was not joined on the red carpet by husband John Krasinski, so the couple will avoid a repeat of their viral Golden Globes scandal! However, she did not fly solo and was instead joined by her doting parents.
Blunt, 40, missed out on an award in the best supporting actress category for her critically-acclaimed role in Oppenheimer. However, the film still managed to pick up seven awards throughout the evening including the best actor award for Cillian Murphy, best supporting actor nod for Robert Downey Jr., director award for Christopher Nolan and best film.
In Blunt’s category, The Holdovers star Da’Vine Joy Randolph took home the award while wearing one of the night’s most dramatic looks, giving Blunt a run for her money in the fashion department! Also in the category were Danielle Brooks, Claire Foy, Sandra Hüller, Rosamund Pike.
