Reebok Taps Victor Solomon for Spring 2024 Collection

For their spring 2024 collection, Reebok decided to collaborate with artist Victor Solomon on a footwear and apparel collection including an iteration of the BB4000 II sneaker.

Over the last five years, Solomon has been devoting his time to the look and culture of basketball. He’s been recently working with the NBA to redesign trophy programs for every league. His efforts continue to pay off with his latest project with Reebok. 

As Reebok returns to the basketball space, the athletic wear brand partnered with the basketball artist to commend basketball’s evolution with an elevated collection. Incorporating Solomon’s signature elements, the capsule is dressed in a gold and white colorway with panel designs. The apparel line includes classic athletic fashion like a heavyweight jersey tee, French terry hoodie and a faux leather varsity jacket. 

The collection centered around the classic basketball silhouette, the BB4000 II, which was reimagined to intertwine the sport’s heritage with Solomon’s design style. The white low-top sneaker featured premium leather overlays with gold detailing laser-cut panels mimicking the look of a jersey. Reebok’s double stripe logo was dressed in gold with a basketball pebble texture. The set was completed with a Victor Solomon branded hangtag and a black outsole and collar lining. Acting as Solomon’s first-ever shoe, the pair retails for $250. 

This collection adds on to Reebok’s extensive list of collaborations with top brands and stars like Cardi B and Victoria Beckham. This release comes a month after Reebok’s partnership with rapper and actor Tobe Nwigwe. The co-branded capsule included an array of mint-colored apparel including a zip-up vest and jacket. Like this line, a pair of white lace-up sneakers completed the collection.
