Dancing on Ice fans furious at ‘rushed show’ as major part of the show is axed
DANCING on Ice fans were left furious just minutes into tonight’s ‘rushed show’ as a huge part of the programme was axed.
Viewers were left fuming as tonight’s episode seemed to be missing a crucial element – the opening credits.
Just minutes into the show, those at home watching noticed the absence of the beloved opening sequence.
The opening credits of Dancing on Ice have become a staple of the show, featuring dazzling visuals and showing the talented lineup of celebrities and professional skaters.
It remains unclear why the decision was made to omit the opening credits from tonight’s episode.
Fans wasted no time expressing their disappointment, whether it was an intentional change or simply an oversight.
Taking to X/Twitter, one wrote: “The opening number was a bit rushed wasn’t it?”
A second asked: “Was ITV running late…no opening credits, straight into the skating?”
A third penned: “Is it just me or do the shows seem very rushed recently? the routines seem shorter as well”
A fourth wrote: “Not sure why the opening credits were not on! Weird.”
A fifth added: “Anyone else notice how rushed Dancing on Ice is tonight?, where is the opening credits as well?”
Meanwhile, Lou and Brendan kicked off the show as they performed to the song, Six from the Musical Six.
The pair impressed the skating panel and bagged themselves an impressive 26.5 points.
Elsewhere Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi says she bought herself padded knickers to protect her bottom while skating on Dancing On Ice.
Roxy, who plays Leyla Harding on the ITV soap, said: “I got myself a pair of padded knickers so I could push myself on the ice, fall on my bum and be less scared of breaking things.
“I’ve still got quite a lot of scar tissue around the rib I dislocated and it just gets sore from time to time.
“My knee’s kind of hurting at the moment, but I’m managing it. My groin’s a little bit sore because of a jump.
