The Air Jordan 3 ‘Green Glow’ Sneaker Is ‘Black Cement’ Meets Baja Blast
The Air Jordan 3 will get a new colorway in March that may remind people of a certain Taco Bell flavor of Mountain Dew.
“Green Glow” sees one of the most heralded Air Jordan models take on aquamarine accents. The namesake color is used sparingly but stands out nonetheless, as it forms the upper and lower most eyelets; tongue, heel and outsole branding; and insole and inner tongue.
Otherwise, the Air Jordan 3 is a close lookalike to the staple “Black Cement” colorway. Black leather forms the majority of the upper, while a grey elephant print sits in its familiar spots on the toe tip and heel counter. Small tweaks differentiating this colorway with “Black Cement” further include additional elephant print on the eyestays and grey suede forming the tongue and collar.
Much like “Lucky Green” was last year, “Green Glow” is set to be used across Jordan Brand and Nike throughout 2024, including new colorways for the Air Jordan 1 High, Air Jordan 1 Mid and Dunk Low. The Air Jordan 3 will be the first such release and test the waters for the Baja Blast-esque accents.
As part of Jordan Brand’s spring lineup, the Air Jordan 3 has recently released in “Midnight Navy” and “Ivory” colorways as well.
The Air Jordan 3 “Green Glow” is slated for a March 16 release through the SNKRS app and select third-party retailers. It’ll come in full family sizing, with the men’s version priced at $200.
