Crews responded to a structure fire Sunday morning near Windsor Terrace. The American Red Cross also responded to assist three people affected by the fire.

2. 33-year-old Massachusetts man dies in snowmobiling accident in Lewis County

New York State Police were called to a snowmobile accident around 2:50 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, in the Town of Montague in Lewis County.

3. Albany Police investigating Ontario Street shooting

The Albany Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place near Ontario Street and Central Avenue on Saturday afternoon. The victim, a 41-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound to his leg, according to police.

Close friends and family of Samantha Humphrey gathered to remember the girl who would have turned 16. Her father said they are trying their best to honor Samantha without anger and frustration.

5. GasBuddy: Avg. Albany prices jump 5.4 cents in last week

Average gasoline prices in Albany have risen 5.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.24/g Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 546 stations in Albany. Prices in Albany haven’t changed versus a month ago and stand 35.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average diesel price has risen 3.0 cents in the last week and is $3.92 per gallon.
