Relovo have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have now reached out to Raphinha’s agent regarding a summer move from Barcelona to North London.
The report says that it is ‘not clear’ if Raphinha has a future at Barca as Lamine Yamal has now moved ahead of the Brazilian in the pecking order. With the teenager continuing to impress, it is alleged that the former Leeds star’s future is ‘up in the air’ at the moment.
It is explained that although Raphinha would prefer to remain at Barca as he feels he has ‘adapted very well’ to the team and ‘feels comfortable in the City’, the Catalan club’s financial situation means that a sale cannot be ruled out.
The outlet claims that the La Liga giants will study any proposals that come their way for the winger at the end of the season.
Relevo say that two Premier League clubs, one of them being Spurs, have already reached out to Raphinha’s agent to discuss a potential switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The publication adds that while the 27-year-old remains focused on turning around his situation at Nou Camp for the moment, a summer move remains very much on the cards.
Spurs Web Opinion
One can understand why Tottenham are keen on Raphinha as Ange loves direct wingers who are aggressive in possession.
I am increasingly starting to think that Kulusevski, despite all of his impressive qualities, does not fit with the profile of wide player Postecoglou wants in the Spurs side, which is why the club might be looking for an upgrade on the Swede.
