Police in Newington are looking for a suspect accused of carjacking an SUV on Saturday that is believed to have been used in a string of armed robberies over the weekend.

The man reportedly left the scene driving the victim’s Toyota and was reportedly followed by a red sedan, police said.
According to police, neighboring departments reported that several convenience and gas stations were robbed or burglarized by individuals driving the SUV after it was stolen in Newington.
The Toyota was located and seized by police in Hartford on Monday, police said.
