Emmerdale shock as couple end their marriage in heartbreaking scenes
EMMERDALE’S Tracy Robinson has ended her marriage to husband Nate in heartbreaking scenes – but she’s still lying to him.
The childminder – who is played by actress Amy Walsh in the ITV soap – only married Nate last year but she’s decided she no longer loves him.
Viewers know Tracy had a short-lived affair with Caleb Miligan but it appears to have had a long-lasting impact with her breaking down over the state of her marriage.
In tonight’s episode Tracy desperately tried to get support from Moira Dingle, Nate’s stepmother and former lover.
She broke down telling Moira how she doesn’t love Nate anymore and she couldn’t fight to make herself love him anymore.
Tracy realised she had to come clean to Nate.
But at lunch he surprised her with a romantic picture of the both of them, and she had to tell him the truth when he started to wonder if her mental health was spiralling again.
“You’re right,” she said. “I’m not doing great. I don’t need you to book me in anymore, can you just listen please.
“There is something wrong, yeah but it’s not Frankie and it’s not my mental health. It’s us. I’m so sorry but I don’t love you anymore.”
Nate flew off the handle, devastated by Tracy’s words.
He demanded to know if there was someone else – and she lied, claiming there wasn’t.
Eventually he stormed off, leaving her sobbing in the kitchen, and he was found by Caleb as he drove out of the village.
Nate even confronted Caleb about his suspicions of Tracy cheating with him leaving Caleb feeling uneasy.
