Huddersfield Picked Their Own, He’s Gone Now – Neil Warnock Makes Observation

New Aberdeen boss Neil Warnock has admitted he is on hand if the club want to ask him about their next manager, something Huddersfield Town did not and noted that the Terriers’ choice is now gone.

 

Huddersfield chose to let Warnock move on earlier this season, with the club insistent they wanted to make another appointment.

 

The Championship side turned to ex-Sheffield Wednesday boss Darren Moore, but he was recently sacked amid looming worries of relegation.

 

 

 

Warnock is now back in the game with the plan being for him to guide Aberdeen through to the end of the season, while the club take their time with a long term appointment.

 

The 75-year-old insists he is not planning to be involved in the process, but is open to the club asking him questions to help.

 

 

Warnock notes that Huddersfield did not bother to ask him as they wanted to pick their own manager, who they have now sacked.

 

“If they wanted to ask me questions, yes great, but I said the same when I left Huddersfield, if you want to ask me questions”, Warnock told a press conference.

 

 

“But they picked their own and I think he’s gone now hasn’t he?”

 

Huddersfield currently sit just above the relegation zone in the Championship, three points clear of 22nd placed QPR.
