A YOUNG woman with a 56-year-old husband shared the realities of their age gap relationship.
The couple poked fun at the assumptions people make when they see them together.
In her video, Kelsey Lynne Bryson (@thetravelingborgmans) and her partner joked about their 27-year age gap.
“We’re an age gap couple, of course people ask if he’s my dad,” the 29-year-old told her followers.
The couple, who share two children together, regularly post about their traveling adventures on their social media.
“We’re an age gap couple, of course my husband’s retired and we’re traveling on the road full time,” Kelsey explained.
The family is based out of a large camper van which they have used to tour countless states.
In another video, Kelsey described the move from house to RV as the “best decision ever.”
However, the pair still receive judgmental comments about their relationship despite being together for almost seven years.
Some people have even implied that Kelsey is a gold-digger and is only with her husband for his money.
“She’s getting that bag,” wrote one TikTok user.
“Bro, he’s too old,” said another viewer while a third person called the marriage “gross.”
On the other hand, many of Kelsey’s followers have voiced their support for her relationship.
“Honey, age is just a number. As long as you love each other that’s what matters,” wrote one viewer.
“You are both glowing, I’m sorry that the world is so cruel. This love is beautiful,” said another TikTok user.
“You look happy! Beautiful family!” commented a third person.
