BIRMINGHAM – A Co-SEC Runner of the Week accolade was awarded to Arkansas senior sprinter Amber Anning following a weekend which included a British national record of 22.60 on Friday followed by a world-leading 50.56 career best on Saturday during the Razorback Invitational.
The impressive individual double on the weekend by Anning was highlighted with a 51.05 second leg carry on Arkansas’ world-leading 3:25.59 4 x 400m relay, which included teammates Rosey Effiong, Nickisha Pryce, and Sanu Jallow.
This past week Anning was named to the Fall 2023 Dean’s List in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must achieve at least a 3.75 grade point average for the semester while completing at least 12 credit hours.
