GULLAN COMPLETES MOVE TO ORIEL
We are delighted to announce that Scottish striker Jamie Gullan has completed his move to Oriel Park.
The 24-year-old, who arrives from Raith Rovers, is in line to make his debut for the club in Friday’s Leinster Senior Cup/Malone Cup tie against Drogheda United.
“It’s been a long week packing everything to move across so I’m delighted to be here now and have everything sorted,” said Gullan. “I’m just looking forward to getting into training on Wednesday and starting to play games now.”
Born in Edinburgh, Gullan spent five years at Hibernian, where he played alongside his new teammate Daryl Horgan and had three loan spells at Raith Rovers, where he lined out with another new arrival at Oriel Park, Ross Munro.
He moved to Stark’s Park on a permanent deal in January 2022 and after making a total of 118 appearances, scoring 32 goals, for the Scottish Championship outfit, he was given a warm send-off by the Rovers supporters at the weekend.
“I spent a lot of years at Raith and built up a really good connection with the fans so I had to say a few tough goodbyes but I’m buzzing to get over here and I’m excited to be part of this club.”

Gullan will wear the number nine jersey at Oriel Park and he said he was hungry to follow in the footsteps of some iconic Dundalk players who have led the line over the years.
“It’s an honour to wear that number,” he said. “There’s a lot of history with it and a lot of goals were scored in that number so hopefully I can carry that on and do it justice in the future.”
Gullan is our sixth new signing of the off-season and Lilywhites head coach Stephen O’Donnell described the transfer as ‘an exciting one’ for everyone connected to Dundalk.
“We’ve been tracking Jamie for some time,” said O’Donnell. “It didn’t look like it was going to happen at various times so to get him over the line is fantastic.
“He broke into the Hibs team at a young age and had a good scoring record at Raith Rovers. He’s 24 and ready to kick on now and go and really achieve something with his career. It’s an exciting signing for everyone.”
