JANUARY blues getting you down? Why not treat yourself to a brand new candle to make your home feel that little bit more cosy?
You don’t need to fork out loads on posh and pricey brands, Tesco have slashed the price of their own brans candle range to just 65p.
There were still loads of candles on the shelves when the shopper spotted them[/caption] M97JHP Tesco sign[/caption]The good news was shared on the popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK by one savvy shopper who spotted the bargain candles on the shelves.
“Huge reductions on Home candles in Tesco. This was in Prestatyn, lots of candles left,” the shared in the group, alongside a snap on the candles.
There’s three different scents to choose from, so there’s something for everyone’s taste.
If you like something uplifting and fruity, the Mango & Pineapple candle might be the one for you.
Or if you want to keep the cosy winter vibes going, why not try the Cinnamon & Clove scented candle?
Or, for something more on the masculine side, there’s the Sea salt & Sandalwood.
The range has been reduced to clear, so you won’t want to wait to pick some up.
Other shoppers were so impressed with the deal they raced down to their local Tesco to nab some.
One said: “Thanks for letting us know just been now and loads left and diffusers were on special too.”
But someone else pointed out that they were “only reduced to 95p” in their local store.
Meanwhile, another savvy shopper said: “I love the Cinnamon one, time to stock up.”
Once you get your hands on your candle, you’ll want to make the most of it, and that means burning it the right way.
Previously, a candle fan took to TikTok to explain how to get the most bang for your buck.
”Your scented candles are not strong or filling the room because you’re doing one thing wrong,” the pro, @sircandlema, said in viral video.
It turns out if you hoard your candles for too long without burning them the scent can vanish.
He explained: ”If you don’t light your candles, the fragrance oils in the wax will rise and evaporate even when it’s not lit.
”So you’re losing the juice – poof, goes the magic dragon!”
You can also save a tunnelling candle with a simple piece of tinfoil, other candle fans noted.
Simply wrap the tin foil around the top of your candle until the wax has melted right to the edge, then when you relight your candle make sure it always burns to the edge again.
