MORGAN CITY, La. (KLFY) -- Two people were found dead in Morgan City as the result of what police suspect was a murder-suicide on Monday.
Officers with the Morgan City Police Department responded at 1:27 p.m. Monday to a residence on Short Street regarding a welfare concern.
Officers arrived and found Primos Patrick Johnson, 39, and Alexis Ledean Robertson, 39, dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Police said evidence indicates that this is a murder-suicide situation. The investigation is ongoing as investigators await autopsy results.
