THE MASKED Singer’s Eiffel Tower has been ‘revealed’ as a noughties pop legend by eagle-eyed fans.
Viewers have previously claimed the likes of Lulu Kennedy-Cairns, Miley Cyrus and Sonique could be behind the costume.
But this time, they’re convinced it’s none other than Melanie Blatt from All Saints due to one giveaway clue.
It would make sense as her mother Helene is French – they even competed together on BBC‘s Celebrity Race Across The World recently.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one wrote, “Probably rogue, but i think that Eiffel Tower might be Mel Blatt from All Saints…”
Another added, “Eiffel Tower = Mel Blatt?!” while a third agreed, “That Eiffel Tower is Mel Blatt.”
Someone else chimed in with, “Mel Blatt for Eiffel Tower, I reckon.”
ITV’s hottest talent show continues to go from strength to strength pulling in over 3 million viewers a show.
However, last week it was embroiled in a fix row, after actress Julia Sawalha, 55, was unveiled as Bubble Tea, the same week that her former Absolutely Fabulous co-star Jennifer Saunders, 65, was serving as a guest judge.
One fan on social media pointed out that the results may be predetermined.
“There are other suspect moments as well such as Julia Sawalha being voted off in the most recent episode.”
They added: “She was far, far better than Owl so all signs just pointed to the fact they wanted to engineer a touching/amusing moment with her former colleague Jennifer Saunders. Maybe I’m cynical but that didn’t feel like a coincidence.”
They’ve also insisted Owl’s reveal was ‘set up’ in advance.
The panel members were stunned to see Lorraine Kelly unmasked as the feathery bird.
But those at home are not so convinced her exit came as a coincidence, especially since she’s scheduled to guest judge in just weeks.
