WE all know that the brows are one of the most important features of the face as it helps frame your eyes.
So we can understand why Georgie Clarke was left sobbing after her best friend botched her eyebrows.
Taking to social media, Georgie revealed that her best friend of five years offered to do semi-permanent tattoos on her eyebrows for her.
“This is what my best friend did to my eyebrows after five years of friendship,” she said.
Georgie went along with the idea and the pair mapped out the shape of the eyebrows together before sinking the needle in.
But Georgie revealed that she could feel the needle was going in to deep as she had a tattoo before and knew semi-permanent one’s weren’t meant to be as painful.
She then showed a picture of what her brows looked like before the tattoo and after to give viewers a side-by-side example of how badly they were done.
“Just so you can see the shape, the colour, the Angry Birds,” she explained, adding “This is my crying again, straight after I had it done.”
“You might ask, ‘why did she do this to me?’ I don’t know,” she added
Horrified by her brows, Georgie spent the next 18 months of her life trying to remove the tattoos.
The dark, thick, sharply angled eyebrows were a far cry from the subtle ombre effect she originally wanted.
She decided to book an emergency saline treatment to remove the tattoos.
The saline solution is injected into the tattoos to remove the ink and let it come to the surface.
The process can take two weeks to complete and can be extremely sore to touch.
“The worst part was looking in the mirror, I just didn’t recognise myself,” she continued.
Georgie went for three treatments of the saline solution in three months but then decided to try laser removal to speed up the process.
The first laser session went well but she showed in one clip that her eyebrow hairs had been bleached yellow from the laser.
“Babes it was the worst 18 months of my life,” she wrote in the comments of the post.
Fortunately her eyebrows have now gone back to normal after a gruelling 18 months.
Georgie also revealed that she and her ‘friend’ were no longer on talking terms anymore.
The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @georgieclarke where it was viewed over 560k times and amassed 22k likes.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments after hearing her horrifying story.
One person wrote: “Omg I’m so sorry that happened to you. What a ‘friend’.”
Another commented: “I would’ve never talked to her again, and sent her the bills.”
“She was jealous. You’re beautiful,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “She had a subconscious vendetta against you girl.”
“Friend? Nooo,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “The journey of all this was just insane. You have persevered through this. Honestly the whole thing was horrendous.”
