CORONATION Street fans have ‘worked out’ a heartbreaking Todd Grimshaw twist after a show favourite dies.
Recent episodes of the ITV soap has seen Todd become smitten with Paul Foreman’s carer, Moses.
Seeing this, Paul and his husband Billy Mayhew pushed the two together and they went on a date, but it didn’t go to plan as Todd received messages from George Shuttleworth about a work emergency, despite having the day off.
In upcoming scenes, a dejected Moses reveals to Todd that he’s moving to London in the hope of finding another job.
The news will leave Todd gutted, but some Coronation Street fans think there will be a further twist for the character.
Todd has been a great support to Paul and Billy after the former’s MND diagnosis.
Since Christmas, Paul has made the decision to end his own life before the condition takes everything away from him, and Billy has agreed to help him.
Todd is aware of the plan, and viewers think when Paul eventually does pass, it could mean the two men left behind are drawn together, especially as they were previously in a relationship from 2016 to 2017.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one wrote: “how long after paul dies till todd and billy are back together? i give it 72 hours.”
Another added: “I hope Billy doesn’t end up back with Todd when Paul’s gone.”
A third commented: “I suspect Billy and Todd (AKA Tilly) will happen during Paul’s illness or after Paul’s death. #Corrie #CoronationStreet I hope I’m wrong.”
