She schooled viewers in an Instagram Reel on a right contouring technique that lifts your face in seconds.
She used the NYX Professional Wonder Stick, $9.96 on Amazon, to complete it.
The video’s voice described the right and wrong way to apply the contour.
First, she drew a thick brown line on her cheekbone and the voiceover loudly said, it was “Immediately no” and gave her a “blob right in the middle.”
She buffed it out with a morphe brush, but the voice said it was “not getting better” and to “try something else.”
“Don’t do this,” the subtitle over the visual also read.
Next, she put her finger on the cheekbone and drew a thinner line slightly above it.
“Now, angle it up for a lift. Now, we have shape and lift,” the woman in the voiceover said.
Seyma followed suit before blending a Morphe brush to blend it all.
“Do this to lift your face,” Seyma wrote in a subtitle as she nodded her head.
At the end of the video, she tossed up a thumbs up as a sign of approval.
There were conflicting opinions in the comment section about which method was the best.
“500% trying this!” a viewer commented.
“The second method is for bronzer. The first is for contour. Two different agendas,” another wrote.
“I do both and don’t even care about the results. It just makes me bronze hehe,” another added.
They were both right, depending on what makeup look you are going for. Also, you need to buff your contour as you are going up in circular motions. There’s a lot going on here, but this is just one suggestion,” an Instagram user chimed in.
