AN expert built an 80-inch micro-camper which some people have compared to a coffin but features a TV, kitchen and saves a fortune.
Chay Denne and his brother Colby wanted to build a camper van that they could take anywhere.

Chay said: “This entire build will focus on making our camper as light as possible that way we’ll get great fuel economy when I tow
it with my car.”
Chay used a piece of 80 by 40 hardwood for the base, and thick foam sheet for insulation.
For the ceiling he used a sheet of thin plywood which he could bend to fit the structure.
The YouTuber said that he wanted to be able to pull the camper with his car rather than than a truck. So it had to be super light.
The brothers even managed to build a mini-kitchen inside the camper where they could cook bacon and pancakes. And they made sure the camper had a charging point for modern devices.
He said: “This is our foldout kitchen all you do is unlatch it and boom you have a cook top and a sink this is just a regular cook top you
can find at Walmart but you know you can make some eggs bacon pancakes and then wash your hands when you’re done.”
Chay said that despite his size he could easily fit inside the camper. He said: “I’m 6’3 and can actually lay down in here no problem I have a window that is just so cool I can open up the window and just enjoy the fresh air
“And then we have a 24in TV with a U built in there a little shelf to put my phone on uh I have a plug right here that I can plug my phone up to if I’m charging.”
Fans of Chay’s YouTube channel praised his ingenuity. One said: “I like the simplistic nature of this teardrop coffin build.”
Another said: “This was probably one of the best minimalist/functional camper builds I’ve ever seen.”
Last year Chay converted an old school bus into a turn an old 1991 school bus into a tiny luxury home in just six months.
It was a tight squeeze but the DIY fan managed to fit a full size bathroom, a full size bed and a massive TV inside the tiny home.
He said: “My brother and I bought this old school bus from a guy who collected trucks on Facebook and honestly it was an awful shape but it had a good engine and transmission.”
