BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo man was indicted for allegedly selling drugs that resulted in the death of a toddler, the US Attorney's office announced.
Javonte Holloway, 23, was charged Monday with distribution of controlled substances causing death and trafficking in counterfeit drugs causing death.
In December 2022, authorities said, Holloway allegedly distributed fentanyl, which resulted in the death of a toddler. Authorities said Holloway also, allegedly, sold counterfeit M-30 oxycodone
hydrochloride pills, containing fentanyl and acetyl fentanyl.
The charge carries a minimum sentence of 20 years and a maximum of life in prison.
