Strictly star Karen Hauer goes Instagram official with new rugby player boyfriend after shock marriage split
STRICTLY’s Karen Hauer has finally gone Instagram official with her new man, just months after the break down of her marriage.
The Sun previously revealed how the pro dancer, 41, is in a relationship with ex-rugby star Simon Davidson, 34.
The new couple had previously been spotted leaving a Birmingham hotel where she was staying during the Strictly tour.
But now they have gone one further, and today Karen posted a sweet snap of the couple out on a country walk.
The happy couple looked loved-up as they hugged each other tightly.
Karen added a heart at the bottom, to show how much she loves her new man.
The Sun first revealed that the dancer’s mystery man was Simon after the pair were snapped leaving the BBC show’s final together in December.
It comes just three months after the dancer split from her third husband, fitness professional Jordan Wyn-Jones.
Karen and Jordan only said ‘I do’ at the exclusive Chewton Glen country house in Hampshire in June 2022 and described it as a “fairytale”.
But it wasn’t meant to be, and the couple split in November 2023.
Heartbroken Jordan told the Daily Mail how his desire to have children was at odds with Karen’s Strictly plans.
As a result, the couple became the latest to fall foul of the show’s infamous ‘curse’.
Jordan said: “It’s a bit of a love story, a sad story.
“I’m incredibly sad not to be in Karen’s life, and not be on this journey with her but we’re not right for each other in terms of her career.
“I will always admire her for her career but it took her away from me a lot. She’d be away and I’d be at home on my own.”
Karen was previously married to fellow former Strictly pro Kevin Clifton from 2015 to 2018.
Before that she was wed to ex-dance partner Matthew Hauer.
