MANCHESTER UNITED have been dealt another blow after reportedly missing out on a 16-year-old wonderkid.
The Red Devils were said to be keen on landing striker Jonah Kusi-Asare from Swedish side AIK.
Chelsea also showed interest in landing the giant 6ft 5ins forward, as did Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven.
However, journalists Anel Avdic and Fabrizio Romano report Bayern Munich have agreed a transfer deal worth more than £4million with AIK.
It is understood Kusi-Asare will put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year contract at the Allianz Arena.
And there will be an option to extend it by a further two years.
Bayern look set to include Kusi-Asare initially in the development squad.
But he will get chances to train with the first team, including star striker Harry Kane.
Born in July 2007, Kusi-Asare spent ten years in the youth academy at Brommapojkarna in Stockholm.
He then joined AIK in January 2023 before signing his first professional contract in November.

That came just four months after his 16th birthday and three after making his senior debut for AIK.
Kusi-Asare was introduced off the bench in August’s Allsvenskan fixture against Varbergs, breaking the record as the club’s youngest player.
In total, he has four appearances for the club, totalling 62 minutes of action.
And though he is yet to score for the first team, there are high hopes he will have a successful career at the top level, helped by his physique.
Like his father Jones Kusi-Asare, the teenager has represented Sweden at youth international level.

He currently has two goals in seven caps for the Sweden Under-16 side.
And then he stepped up to the U17s and smashed in a hat-trick on his debut against Moldova to fire his country to a 3-2 win.
Kusi-Asare is the latest football wonderkid to snub a transfer to Old Trafford.
United also missed out on Belgian midfielder Arthur Vermeeren who has left Royal Antwerp to complete a switch to Atletico Madrid.
However, they remain interested in highly-rated Lille defender Leny Yoro and have sent scouts to watch Jayden Addai in action for AZ Alkmaar.
And the Red Devils do have a host of rising stars in the academy – including goal machine Amir Ibragimov.
