Roman Kemp gives fans a major update on BBC game show The Finish Line
ROMAN Kemp has given fans a major update on his BBC game show The Finish Line.
The DJ turned telly presenter, 31, hosted the brand new series alongside Sarah Greene last year.
It was Sarah’s first big TV gig since the death of her beloved husband Mike Smith in 2014.
And now Roman has revealed filming has officially kicked off on the second series.
Taking to Instagram, the star posted a snap from the TV set in Belfast as he celebrated his birthday.
He said: “Thanks for the birthday messages. Been spent well on set in Belfast!”
The Finish Line sees contestants compete in quiz-fuelled races across a unique racetrack set.
Knowledge equals speed so the more you know, the further you go.
The first series aired late last year on BBC One, which directly rivalled Tipping Point on ITV1.
The show is produced by Potato, which is the same production company behind The Chase, Sitting on a Fortune and Moneyball.
BBC bosses previously green lit the show’s second series, which has been given an extended run.
30 episodes have been ordered for BBC One’s daytime schedule, which are slated to air later this year.
The first series of The Finish Line is available to stream now on BBC One and iPlayer.
