A MUM who hadn’t stepped foot inside a Primark for 10 years has hailed the store for continuing its bargain prices after picking up a huge haul.
Courtney Ryrie is originally from Scotland but now lives in Florida without a local Primark nearby.

The bargain retailer opened its ‘US HQ’ store in Boston in 2015 and has since unveiled a further 16 shops.
Courtney made a 150-minute trip to her nearest bargain store with her mum and two sons, Kolsyn and Hudsyn – checking into a hotel before her epic haul.
In a recent TikTok video (@scottishcourt), she said: “It was a very exciting day for me going to Primark.
“It was a two and a half hour journey so we stopped half way and got a Starbucks.
“We then headed to our hotel first to check in, then we headed to Primark.”
She added: “It did look pretty similar to the UK one. It even had the same grey baskets.
“But I still think the UK one is superior.”
It didn’t stop Courtney from filling two huge bags full of clothes and accessories, however.
She added: “I’ve missed it so much.
“For those of you who don’t know what those bags were, they were Primark bags.
“Primark is primarily a store in the UK. I’ve not been to one in over 10 and a half years so I was buzzing to go.
“As you can see from the two huge bags that I got, I got a lot.”
Courtney picked up a long sleeved black top, nude bralette, tie waist shorts in blue and black, seamless pyjamas, socks, two black bodysuits and a pink vest top for herself.
“The bodysuits fit so perfectly”, she gushed.
She also bagged some beauty buys including a back combing brush, false nails, cotton pads, hair bobbles, and an eyelash curler
She rounded off her haul with some bath toys, six T-shirts, swim shorts and socks for her kids, plus T-shirts and socks for her husband.
Courtney said: “My mum also got some pyjamas, sweat suits for my dad and socks for my dad.
“All of that came to like $240 (£189).
“Good prices, love it because the kids go through clothes so quick.
“I do too when they get stained. So that was my Primark haul after 10 and a half years.”
But not everybody’s been happy with Primark’s prices recently.
According to several fashion fans, the feeling of getting a whole basket of goodies for £25 is a distant memory…as many have been left horrified by the sudden hike in prices in the high-street store.
After visiting her local store in Manchester, one savvy shopper named Charlie asked: “I’m just in Primark at the moment and what in the actual Zara pricing is this?”
“So I just saw this coat and I was like, ‘oh that’s actually quite nice for Primark – that’s actually a half decent coat, I would wear that,’ she added.
“I look at the label – £60. I’m sorry but does anyone else remember when Primark coats used to literally cost like £10?
“Screaming, crying, throwing up. Who do Primark think they are?!
“Actually in shock. Is it just me or is this outrageous?!!”
Another shopper chimed in: “Primark has become so expensive that I will never shop there. Better off spending the extra bit of money to get way better quality elsewhere.”
Meanwhile, a third noted: “Primark isn’t Primarking anymore.”
And a fourth wrote: “I spent £100 on two things in Primark this month.”
