Shocking moment McDonald’s bouncer floors two thugs who sparked chaotic brawl at Glasgow’s Four Corners
SHOCKING footage shows the moment a McDonald’s bouncer was forced to fight back after being repeatedly attacked by thugs.
The violent punch-up broke out after two drunken yobs confronted staff at the fast food branch on Argyle Street, Glasgow, on Saturday night.
The incident, which was filmed by a shocked bystander and shared on social media, happened just hours after the Celtic v Ross Country clash at Parkhead.
The two yobs, one of whom can be seen wearing a yellow Celtic strip, appear to be intoxicated as they throw punches and repeatedly lunge at security staff.
The bouncers can be seen trying to talk the Hoops fan down but one is forced to throw him to the ground.
One security guard can be seen exclaiming “f*** off” and “go away” during the chaotic rammy.
The man in the Celtic strip then appears to re-enter the premises after being ejected and then becomes involved in another fight outside the entrance to the branch.
The second attacker continues to aim punches and kicks as a man lies on the street outside the restaurant.
And it provoked a furious reaction from the security worker who was then seen thumping both men with punches to the face in a bid to fend them off, sending each of them crashing to the ground.
Cops confirmed two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 9.50pm on Saturday, 27 January, to a report of a disturbance on Argyle Street in Glasgow.
“Officers attended and two men, aged 29 and 30, were arrested and charged. They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.”
There have been a number of violent incidents at Glasgow’s Four Corners in recent years.
In 2020, a teen lad was rushed to hospital after a merciless gang of youths dragged him to the ground and stamped on his head.
