I did a size-4 Skims haul – my bodysuit cinches like nothing else but I have a controversial opinion about the dress
KIM Kardashian’s Skims line has changed the world of shapewear.
A fashion fan has shared her latest haul from the brand but not all her purchases were winners.
In her video, Tati Bruening (@illumitatiana) modeled each of her Skims finds for her followers.
“For reference, I’m 6-foot-2 and a dress size 4, I usually wear around a small,” she explained.
For her first try-on, she showed off the $74 Seamless Sculpt Mid-Thigh Bodysuit.
“Starting with this bodysuit situation, it is technically part of their shapewear but I wish that I could wear it out,” Tati said.
“It’s really comfy, honestly it’s a 10 out of a 10, I just wish that the pee hole was bigger and I’m not a huge fan of the sheer butt but it cinches like nothing else I own so that’s a good sign.”
Tati also shared her thoughts on the $80 Soft Lounge Long Slip Dress.
“This will be controversial but this is the Skims dress, it’s incredibly popular and I’ve seen a lot of girls even wear it to prom but I honestly dislike it,” she said.
“It bunches up even after you just walk around for a little bit, also, I wish that it were just a bit less sheer.”
Next, she posed in the $80 Unlined Plunge Thong Bodysuit, which she modeled with a pair of cargo pants.
“I really like it, I think that the back is absolutely gorgeous,” Tati told her viewers.
“However, the clip part of the bodysuit is not very wide so just be aware that you might get a wedgie.
“I wish that it cinched a bit more like the first bodysuit that I showed but I still wear this at least once a week.”
Finally, she tried on the $78 Essential Mock Neck Long Sleeve Bodysuit.
“It’s probably my favorite product that Kim made, it’s a thicker material so it cinches a bit more and also the sleeves are really long,” Tati said.
“I kind of wish that there were thumb holes but it’s OK and also, if the turtleneck was just a little bit higher.
“Notes aside, it’s my favorite piece of basic wear that I own.”
