A MOTHER-DAUGHTER duo who are the same age said they have fun together despite their unlikely situation.
Because they’re both 28, many people wouldn’t expect them to get along so well — but that’s not the case.
Gym rat Najlah Malott (@najmalott) said she won the family lottery when she married a guy with a child her own age.
She and her 28-year-old stepdaughter became best friends.
“Having a stepdaughter the same age as you is fire,” she began in a clip.
Clearly sharing a love of the gym, the two of them posed alongside weight racks in matching outfits: pink tie-dye bum scrunch leggings with cropped white tops.
They flaunted their figures while dancing along to the music to prove how strong their bond is.
“Crazy right?! We have fun together so,” Najlah wrote in the caption, alongside a shrugging emoji that showed she was unbothered by any criticism.
Her stepdaughter, Carissa Malott, clearly feels the same way.
“Love you mommy/bestie,” she commented on the clip.
And luckily for them, their friendship isn’t a problem for other members of the family.
When one users asked what the biological mother thinks, Najlah revealed, “She loves me lol and I love her. She’s nice, thank God.”
Other viewers simply applauded their relationship.
“That’s awesome,” one person wrote.
“It’s nice to see how well you get along,” added another.
