TikToker Dani Cole (@danicolexx) loves to share her beauty and skincare tips online.
In one viral post, she divulged a “Korean beauty secret you didn’t know.”
In the video, Dani has coffee grains under her eyes.
“When I tell people that you can literally use coffee to brighten dark circles,” she wrote.
The clip garnered more than 8,330 comments.
“I am scared they could turn darker than they have been before,” one person wrote.
But Dani ensured nothing bad would happen by doing her hack. “They won’t I promise,” she answered. “It works wonders.”
Another person was curious what Dani used as a mixer to create the coffee paste.
“I mix it with yogurt,” the beauty guru answered.
Some people were curious how long Dani leaves the mixture on her face.
“I put it on my face when it’s dry and leave it for 15 minutes then wash off,” the TikToker responded.

Coffee can be used to treat dark circles under the eyes because the caffeine constricts blood vessels.
“Caffeine helps the microcirculation of blood in the skin, which is why it also helps decrease brown discoloration underneath the eyes,” dermatologic surgeon Dr. Kavita Mariwalla told the Dermstore.
But the benefits are short-lived, Dr. Mariwalla added.
