DANCING On Ice star Adele Roberts’ fiancée Kate Holderness shared a sweet tribute to her after Adele revealed her mother had passed away.
The TV presenter showed her support by posting a snap of her girlfriend to Instagram.
Her partner Kate posted a snap captioned: “I’m speechless @Adeleroberts. I couldn’t be prouder of you & @Markhanretty. Thank you to everyone who supported tonight.”
In the photo Mark lifted Adele during a routine for Dancing On Ice.
Last night Adele paid tribute to her mother and said her performance on the show was dedicated to her.
Adele, 44, showcased her dance moves to Jimmy Cliff’s I Can See Clearly Now on Dancing On Ice last night.
In an emotional post, she disclosed the passing of her mother, Jackie Roberts, who died earlier this month.
Adele wrote: “For you Mum. Tonight’s performance was dedicated to the memory of my beautiful mum, Jackie Roberts.
“01.09.62 – 04.01.24. I didn’t want to say anything until I’d managed to get through our routine tonight. So apologies if it seemed I was overly emotional.
“My heart is broken and I miss my mum so much. Saying goodbye to her this week was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. My mum got to see the start of our routine… and tonight I wanted to finish it in her honour.
“Thank you to the whole incredible Dancing On Ice team for guiding me through one of the toughest weeks of my life. Especially you Mark Hanretty.”
Adele was diagnosed with stage two bowel cancer in October 2021 and received early treatment that the star later described as life-saving.
Kate , who is an actress, showed her support online then too, describing her partner as a “hero” in one emotional post.
Adele rose to fame after joining Big Brother just over two decades ago.
Since then she has starred in many shows, among them, I’m A Celeb, Celebrity Coach Trip, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
