LIAM Connor lands himself in plenty of trouble next week as the wedge between him and his friend Dylan Wilson deepens.
This causes Coronation Street legend Sean Tully to take a stand for his son as he places Liam right in his firing line.
His son Dylan remains involved in Liam Connor’s bullying ordeal[/caption] Both Dylan and Liam are involved in an altercation[/caption]The beloved Underworld machinist played by Antony Cotton is nothing if not a devoted father to his teen son Dylan.
Unbeknownst to him, Dylan (Liam McCheyne) is rubbing elbows with Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan), a dangerous bully who clearly doesn’t shy away from causing genuine harm to those around him – particularly Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall).
For weeks on end, ITV viewers have been shocked to see Liam being tormented by Mason and, in scenes due to air next week, the ordeal escalates once again, leaving Sean incandescent with rage.
It all begins in the school corridor as Dylan asks Mason if he plans to return Liam’s phone.
However, Mason laughs and tells Dylan that if Liam turns up for their meeting, he’s a dead man.
After overhearing the conversation, Liam stares Mason out and promises he’ll be there.
But a worried Dylan warns Liam not to meet Mason, though Liam remains adamant that it’s time he stood up to him.
As Liam approaches Mason and his mates, he overhears Dylan referring to him as a loser.
Goaded by Mason, Liam rams Dylan up against a wall and as Mrs Crawshaw appears, the latter falls to the ground.
In other scenes, Gary Windass (Mikey North) reveals that Liam is being bullied at school and Dylan is ignoring him.
This prompts Dylan’s father Sean Tully to scoff, but George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) silences him with a look.
Making it clear to Gary that he’s done enough damage later on, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) sets off to the police station with Liam.
Sean then rails at Gary and tells him he’s glad he reported Liam to the police as bullies need to be punished.

But while Sean is quick to throw the blame on to Liam, Maria picks up on signs suggesting her son is terrified and even covering for somebody else.
While at the police station, Maria insists that if Liam tells the truth, he will be out of trouble.
Later on, however, Maria shares her suspicions with Gary – could she have rumbled what is really going on away from home?
Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
