THIS Morning’s brand new host Sian Welby has broken her silence ahead of making her debut as a lead presenter on the show.
Sian has been picked to front the programme alongside Dermot O’Leary as ITV bosses continue their ‘live auditions’ in order to find a replacement for Holly Willoughby.
Now the blonde beauty has teased there could be “carnage” as she prepares to take on TV’s most coveted role.
In a video posted to Instagram, Sian looked nervous as she exclaimed: “I’m trying to be cool, calm and collected, but I’m hosting This Morning tomorrow!
“I can’t believe this, I’m on the actual main show.
“I don’t know who allowed this. Am I ready? Am I a liability?”
Sian landed the gig after joining the embattled daytime show last year as their brand new entertainment expert.
It has seen her follow in the footsteps of Rylan Clark and Ferne McCann who previously hosted the showbiz section on the programme.
Whilst the format was rested for a few years, Sian was chosen to take on the role when it was brought back last year.
It seems that she has certainly impressed too after being picked to front the main show.
Adding of the “carnage” she planned to bring to the sofa, Sian said: “I will be with Dermot on Monday on This Morning.
“Tune in if you want to see the carnage that could happen, because honestly, at this moment, I don’t know what could happen.
“I’m just gonna wing it!”
Sian is currently a host on the Capital FM Breakfast show with the 37 year old replacing Vick Hope after she left the programme.
Before that, Sian had hosted her own show on Heart FM as well as presenting the Health Lottery draws on Channel 5 as well as hosting the weather bulletins for the same channel.
This Morning has been left without a permanent host since the departures of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Josie Gibson, Cat Deeley, Emma Willis and Christine Lampard have all been in with a shout at bagging the role with Sian now adding to the long list of potential new faces.
