My easy makeup tips give you flawless under-eyes – my method prevents creasing and lasts all day
A CREASED under-eye can be enough to ruin even the most flawless makeup look.
One beauty fan has shared her go-to tips for smoothing the common problem.
In her video, Holly (@hollyxiiu) demonstrated the steps she uses to perfect her under-eye makeup.
“I struggled so badly with creasing and these techniques make them smooth and last all day,” the TikToker explained.
She told her audience that her hacks would give them “buttery smooth” skin.
Holly added that the resulting “flawless under eyes with no creases” will “last all day.”
For her first step, she applied a thin layer of concealer under each of her eyes.
“If you do less it is easier to work with but I like to do mine all under my eye, just to make sure it’s really even,” Holly explained.
She recommended letting your concealer set for 30 seconds before blending it out.
For her application demo, she used the $7 Maybelline Fit Me Concealer.
Holly described the second part of her under-eye makeup process as “crucial.”
She began by dabbing a powder puff applicator into her favorite setting powder.
Holly used the $47 Translucent Loose Setting Powder from Laura Mercier.
She gave her audience a close-up look at the sponge, pointing out the uneven distribution of the powder.
Holly dabbed the powder onto the back of her hand and smoothed it out.
“That’s how it’s going to set on your eye,” she explained to her followers.
“Stretch your face so your under eye is flat and just before you set, make sure you blend out any crease that came up.”
Holly emphasized the importance of “really pressing into the crease.”
“And there you have it, you’re going to have under eyes that last you all day,” she concluded.
