A LOVE Islander with a famous show ex is poised to make a return to the TV villa as a shock bombshell.
There’s a spare place in the luxury South African abode following Jake Cornish’s dramatic exit.
But it may not be long before it’s filled as The Sun can exclusively reveal Malissa ‘Mal’ Nicoll is in talks to return.
Mal, 27, had a brief stint on the last series of the hit ITV2 dating show, lasting just a week.
She was coupled up with Sammy Root but was dumped after being voted the least popular girl by viewers.
But Love Island bosses feel the Scottish beauty has more to give and are hoping to give her another shot on All Stars.
An insider said: “Producers are all in agreement that Mal has more to give and went too soon.
“Unfortunately it just didn’t work out for her last time but she would spice things up this time around.
“She deserves another shot in the villa and is bang up for the opportunity too.”
Mal previously dated Love Island hunk Jay Hunger before he dumped her and another ex to appear on the reality show.
The picture researcher, who shared an Edinburgh flat with Jay, claimed he dumped her days before she was due to spend Christmas with his family.
Mal previously said that ending the relationship the way he did underlined that he was “very selfish and will do absolutely anything to benefit him — he is absolutely cutthroat”.
She went on: “Something he would say is, ‘People are disposable’. I am intrigued to see what he does with these women on the show.”
