I’d been dating a guy for 3 months when I found out he had a live-in girlfriend of 5 years – his birthday gave it away
A SINGLE woman was shocked to discover that the man she was dating for months had a long-term girlfriend.
He even lived with the other woman — but she didn’t realize until his birthday gave away a shocking detail.
Amanda Ferguson (@amandafergusonxx) did not hold back about the trouble she’s experienced in the dating scene.
She revealed in an August 2023 video how she found out that the guy she had been talking to already had a girlfriend of five years.
“We’ve been talking for like three or four months, whatever. Everything was going pretty good,” she said.
She admitted that there were some red flags that she ignored.
“He would cancel and not be able to see me a lot, but we live an hour and a half, two hours away from each other. So, it was fine,” she added.
The former flame had met her whole family and her friends, by this point, and was planning to come to her vacation house for his birthday.
A spontaneous phone call is how she discovered that his birthday was the day before.
“I was trying to figure out what I was gonna get him because I figured I would get him something we could go do,” she explained.
She Facetimed him to discuss birthday plans but another girl answered the phone.
It didn’t faze her because he has many female friends, but her reaction raised eyebrows.
“She goes, ‘Who the f**k are you?'” Amanda said.
She “froze” and was confused before the guy popped into the scene and knocked the phone out of the other woman’s hand, causing it to hang up.
Amanda called him again repeatedly but either his number was blocked or his phone was turned off.
The next day she realized what was happening and that was “definitely his girl.”
His girlfriend messaged her the next morning, and she spilled the beans about their intense months-long relationship.
“She basically tells me how they’ve been dating for five years. They broke up last year for a little bit, but they’ve been back together,” she said.
During their conversation, she discovered that he’d been living with her the entire time that he was “talking” to Amanda.
“Basically, lying to both of us and playing her really bad but still played me,” she divulged.
“And she’s probably gonna stay with him. Gross.”
Viewers couldn’t get over how wild the story was and made that known in the comments.
“Get funnier every time I hear it,” one commented under the video.
